BRS report
Removals of Belarusian citizens from the United States
Analysis of ICE enforcement records obtained through FOIA: 71 removals between October 2024 and August 2026, 32 without a judge’s decision, 7 children, 41 sent to a third country. Available in Belarusian and English.
What the records show
- 71 people removed in 22 months
- Between 1 October 2024 and 5 August 2026, ICE recorded 71 departures of Belarusian citizens from the United States.
- 53 had no criminal record at all
- ICE itself files them under its lowest criminality level, “Other Immigration Violator”: no conviction, no charge pending.
- 32 left without a final order from a judge
- They left through routes that never reach a decision by an immigration judge, so no judge ever weighed their case on its merits.
- 41 were sent to a third country
- Not back to Belarus, but to another country — what ICE’s own data calls a third-country removal.
- 7 were children
- Seven of those removed were under 18 on the day of departure. The youngest was three years old.
- 597 days — the median case
- Just under twenty months from the day ICE or CBP took a person in to the day they left the country.
